Theses are my replacement display boards for Model H, Model S, Model 78/79, Model D, and Model E Skee Ball machines (be sure to select a D/E version to include the adapter to support the older Model 78/79, Model D, and Model E computers). These boards replace the original printed circuit boards (PCBs) that used mini-bulbs or the obsolete large 7-segment LED characters to display the game score and balls played. My completely redesigned boards are drop-in replacements for these classic games. They work on original computers with 6-pin or 8-pin display connectors and they work with my Replacement Skee computer
I have created replacement boards for both the score display and the ball count display:
(1) Skee Score: This is the score display board. It uses a micro-controller that is running software I wrote to convert the computer's serial data stream into score digits presented to the game's player. It easily attaches into existing mounting holes in the game using hardware I provide. The wiring harness is identical to the original mini-bulb display board so you can simply unplug the old one from your machine's computer and plug in Skee Score replacement... super easy!
(2) Skee Ball-Count: This is the ball count display board. It also uses a micro-controller running software I wrote to convert the incoming serial data stream presented to the game's player. Simply plug directly to the Skee Score display board. The Classic Display Set includes a replacement ball-count baffle that easily installs on the existing mounting studs as a unit. The Modern Display's ball count mates directly to the Skee Score board... simplicity is good!
Whether you choose the Classic or Modern Display is simply personal preference - each is a "better than original" solution... awesome!
Modern purchase includes the modern-style score display (resembles gas station LED price display signs), a modern-style ball count (attaches directly to the modern score), a "rainbow cable" (to connect between the computer and the display), and 4 press-mount standoffs to affix the new display in place of the original display.
Classic purchase includes the classic-style score display (mounts to the back of your existing score light baffle), two banana plugs (secures the classic score to the baffle), a "rainbow cable" (to connect between the computer and the display), classic-style ball count display (mounted in a new ball count light baffle because the originals are almost always broken), and a micro-USB cable to connect the ball count display to the score display board.
